| "He is a wonderful actor. By which I mean he is able to take his startlingly appealing persona and meld it into the life of whatever character he's playing -- and I've seen him take on a number of different roles, roles by Miller, Shaw, Mamet for example. I've also seen him (directed him, in fact) in a delicious comedy called Pizza Man. These are all very different plays, by very different authors, and the parts Kyle played were very different characters. In all of them Kyle's particular radiance shone through and animated the very specific life that was in the writing. He is a terrific colleague. He's co-operative and smart and funny and passionate about the work that everyone is engaged in together. You will like him. You will like working with him. You will like his work." - Austin Pendleton, Director (Pizza Man) "Kyle does tremendous things with direction. While on set, he is consistently pensive about his next scene. He filters dialogue with thoughtful inflection. His versatility ranges from child-like to extreme maturity, bitterly melancholy to gracious and comedic. Working with Kyle feels like working with the next big star." - Pam Seniza, Director (Shithouse Mouse) "Kyle's natural talent and commitment to the craft were evident from his first reading. And on camera--like all good actors--he gave up a piece of himself to the role, wasn't afraid to take risks, and let the character take on a life of its own." - David Cavallo, Director (Green) |
